This vintage Wee Forest Folk mouse is so hopeful you will come play! She's wearing a yellow dress with a tiny little heart on the hem, and a bonnet to keep the sun out of her eyes. She holds tight to a prized blue balloon as she looks for a playmate. She's such a tiny little thing with arms reaching up to you. Won't you give her a place to call home? This vintage miniature figurine is a very early piece by Annette and in very good condition. So much vintage charm! Would be a cute cupcake topper at a baby shower or a delightful addition to a miniature village or display. It comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: a very tiny 1.25" x 0.875".

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
