Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-373z - Spring Surprises
This Wee Forest Folk Collector's Club Special includes a miniature mouse dressed in a purple spring dress tied with a yellow bow in back. She's socializing with two friendly bunnies and a pair of chattering squirrels under a tree covered in pretty pink spring blossoms. Oh look! There's a robin tending to her eggs nestled in the branches of the tree! What a wonderful spring surprise! Comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Willy Petersen. Retired 2023.
The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
