Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-271 - Earl E. Frost

This Wee Forest Folk mouse is Earl E. Frost, or Jack Frost. He's the personification, or should we say mousification, of frost, ice, snow, and winter in the forest. Some say he's responsible for nipping your fingers and toes during a winter walk in the woods, or painting frosty fern-like patterns on your windows on cold winter mornings. He's appropriately dressed in an impish pearly white outfit with sparkly silver trim and a snowflake on his chest. Even the toes of his shoes sparkle like fresh snow! We love the frosted twig base this tiny elf stands upon. A vintage treasure in your miniature winter village! This tiny mouse is in excellent condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.5" (h) x 1.0" (w).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
