Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-229b - Her Big Hug (Yellow)
This tiny Wee Forest Folk figurine in a hard-to-find color combination would make a beautiful Mother's Day gift. A mother mouse in a pretty yellow dress gets a big hug from her little girl in red. The flowers the tiny mouse picked for her mom lay on the ground nearby. The expressions of love on these little faces are just as sweet as can be! Sculpted and initialed by Willy Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.5" x 1.125". Retired in 2002.
The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
