This vintage Wee Forest Folk miniature figurine has a tremendous amount of detail and is in excellent / new condition. Tiny mother and son mice have gathered enough holiday baking scraps to build their own gingerbread house - and their gingerbread house embellishments are amazing! Mother mouse carefully adds the frosting in her red Christmas apron. Her little lad stands on a tiny step stool to get a better look. Be careful little mouse; don't drop any more candy canes on the floor! Comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted by Donna Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 2.25" (long) x 1.25" (tall) x 1.25" (wide).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
