Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-178 - Night Prayer (Cream/Pink)
This tiny Wee Forest Folk mouse is kneeling beside her bed saying her nightly prayers. This piece was made in several color combinations and this one is harder to find, with an intricately painted bed spread with a cream background, pink horizontal stripes on top, and a classic birds eye pattern on the drop featuring small individual diamonds, each centered with a dot. So many adorable details on this piece, including the engraved heart on the footboard, teeny mouse toes peeking out from under a tiny white nightgown, and the sincere expression on this little angel's face. Such a sweet gift for a first communion celebration. Perfectly sized for an Easter basket or Christmas stocking. stuffer. The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
