Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-162 - Prima Ballerina (Blue)

This vintage Wee Forest Folk mouse ballerina is wearing a white and blue ballet dress and a teeny tiny tiara. She poses with the toe of her blue ballet shoe pointed, on a base encircled in pink roses. It looks like she may be waiting for her dance lesson outside the Gallery of Music (sold separately). She would be beautiful in a tiny glass cloche on your ballerina's bedside table or bookshelf. She deserves center stage, don't you think?! This miniature figurine is in excellent condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen. The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
