Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-136a - Tuckered Out
Winter has settled in and this tiny Wee Forest Folk mouse is all Tuckered Out. Gathering seeds and scurrying about preparing for cold weather is hard work for such a little mouse! He's finally tucked in for a long winter's nap, under a warm patchwork quilt, with his socks draped over the footboard just in case there's a draft in his cozy den. We can almost hear his soft little snoring, can't you? So many adorable details on this piece, including the patchwork quilt, the folksy heart carved in the footboard, the slippers on the floor by the bed, and the sweetest sleeping mouse ever! An adorable gift for a baby shower, under a tiny glass cloche in the nursery, or to add to any Wee Forest Folk or miniature collection. This miniature figurine is in excellent condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.625" x 2.125".
Every Wee Forest Folk figurine is hand-painted and made in the USA.
Production: 1992 - 1993. Based on a previous piece, M-136, originally sculpted in 1986. Includes the original date sticker.

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
