Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-119 - Prudence Pie Maker

This tiny Wee Forest Folk mouse is wearing pilgrim attire and is on her way to a Thanksgiving feast! Prudence Pie Maker proudly carries a homemade pie (of course), and her dress has a pretty bow in back. Her date, Peter's Pumpkin, is sold separately. These are early pieces carved by Annette in 1984 and in beautiful condition. We'll sell them separately or as a set, but they've been a couple for so long we hope you'll take them home together! They each come in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions:
1.5" (h) x 0.875" (w).

A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
