Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-076 - Beach Mousey

This tiny Wee Forest Folk mouse is building a sand castle at the beach! He's wearing a cute white sun hat, an adorable red and white stripped tank top, and blue shorts. We love the surprised look on his face as the waves come a little too close to his masterpiece! This is an early piece from the 1980's and has so much nostalgic charm. it will be a wonderful addition to your miniature beach display, or under a small glass cloche at your beach house. It comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.25" (w) x 1.25" (h).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
