Wee Forest Folk Miniatures Christmas Carol 7-Piece Set
This is a complete, 7-piece set of Wee Forest Folk's interpretation of characters from The Christmas Story by Charles Dickens. A beautiful addition to any miniature Christmas village, and a perfect way for new collectors to get their collection started. The set includes Scrooge, Bob Cratchit & Tiny Tim, Marley's Ghost, the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present (on a holly base), the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, and the merry, dancing Fezziwigs.
All pieces except for Scrooge and Bob Cratchit & Tiny Tim were retired in the late 1990's and early 2000's. Scrooge and Bob Cratchit & Tiny Tim were retired in Feb 2025. Each piece is sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen, and includes the original 1987 date stamp and the gold character stamp. Each figurine is approximately 1.5 to 1.75" tall. The Ghost of Christmas Present is slightly taller at 2.25" tall. Each miniature figurine is in excellent condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage.
This set would be an extraordinary gift for any collector of Wee Forest Folk figurines, or anyone who appreciates classic literature and/or Charles Dickens.
The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
