Wee Forest Folk Miniatures CC-4 - Ghost of Christmas Past

This tiny Wee Forest Folk mouse is the Ghost of Christmas Past from Charles Dickens' 1843 novella, A Christmas Carol, in which Scrooge receives nocturnal visits from three Ghosts of Christmas, each representing a different period in Scrooge's life. A contradictory character, this wee mouse holds a branch of holly, which symbolizes winter while its robe is trimmed with summer flowers. Under his/her arm, he/she carries a gold candle extinguisher which is undoubtedly used to smother painful memories of the past. A classic holiday collectible to accompany Scrooge and the other mice in the Wee Forest Folk Christmas Carol Collection (each sold separately). This miniature figurine is in excellent / like new condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.5" (h) x 1" (w).
