Wee Forest Folk Limited Edition PM-2a - Tippy Canoe & Sammy Too

A limited edition figurine from the Wee Forest Folk Pond Mice Collection. These three little mice have found a trio of patriotic ladybugs canoeing at the pond on the 4th of July, and they are leaning in to get a better look. Better not lean too far little mice, or your tippy canoe might tip right over! Mice and ladybugs are all well prepared for an Independence Day celebration, dressed in red, white, and blue beach attire. Both canoes are painted for the holiday, and one little bug is wearing a tall, star spangled top hat like Uncle Sammy! We love the realistic water and how this little scene is contained in a circular base. This figurine will be the star of your 4th of July decor, and such a fun way to commemorate spending Independence Day at the lake.

This miniature figurine is in excellent condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Willy Petersen. Approximate dimensions: a wee 2.5" wide x 1" tall.

A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
