This delightful Wee Forest Folk figurine will bring you back in time to the early 1800's. An Empire Period mouse stands on a stool and admires herself in a vanity mirror. She is stunning in a high waisted pale pink dress with a flowing skirt and a square neckline. Her companion mouse, wearing a light green dress and an expertly tied turban, is fussing over the hemline using supplies from a tiny sewing basket nearby. So many details to admire including the hair brush and gloves placed on the vanity and the reflection of our sweet mouse in the vanity mirror. A perfect addition to your dressing room or sewing room decor, and a beautiful miniature to place under a tiny glass cloche on the dresser of any fashionista. This piece was made for several different time periods. Wouldn't it be fun to collect them all?! Expertly sculpted and initialed by Willy Petersen. Approximately 2.5" wide x 2.5" tall. The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
