Wee Forest Folk Special M-040 - Miss Bobbin (Halloween)
Miss Bobbin is the oldest piece in the Wee Forest Folk line and one of Annette's favorites. An important piece in any Wee Forest Folk collection. This particular version of Miss Bobbin is a special Halloween edition made for the 2002 Folktoberfest with only 225 pieces made. Miss Bobbin wears a black dress and a white apron with orange trim. Her MICE brand sewing machine is black too, and so realistic you can almost hear the rhythmic humming as the needle goes up and down. The fabric she has chosen is orange with a spooky black bat pattern, and an orange and yellow spool of thread sits atop the sewing machine. The braided rug at her feet is orange and white. Perfect in your miniature Halloween village! Sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen. This color combination was made in a quantity of only 225 in 2002. Approximate dimensions: 1.25" x 1.625".

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
