Wee Forest Folk Pond Mice PM-6 - Forget Me Knot (Red)

From the Wee Forest Folk Pond Mice Collection, these three little mice are spending a sunny afternoon at the pond in their red row boat named Forget Me Knot. Miss mouse wears a yellow floral dress and a sun hat, while Mr. Mouse wears a perfect purple jacket. The little boy mouse wears a sailor hat and leans over the side of the row boat to drag his tiny fingers through the water as they drift peacefully through the lily pads. Just look at those precious expressions. We love the realistic water and how this little scene is contained in a circular base. Add some real or artificial greenery and a few stones around the base and this piece will easily be the star of any miniature village or display. Such a sweet way to remember summer days at the lake. There are 6 pieces in the pond mice collection so a nice way to collect an entire series without taking up too much space.

This miniature figurine is in excellent condition and comes in a box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Willy Petersen. Approximate dimensions: a wee 2.75" wide x 1.5" tall.

A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
