Wee Forest Folk Miniatures T-02 - Sailor Teddy

This teeny tiny Wee Forest Folk teddy is spending a day at the beach. He's dressed in a blue and white sailor suit and stands on a sandy base with seashells scattered about. Our little sailor is playing with a toy sailboat in the shallow waves along the shore. Don't go out too far tiny teddy, or you might lose your boat! This is an early piece from the 1980's in perfect condition and has so much nostalgic charm. it will be a wonderful addition to your miniature beach display, Independence Day decor, or under a small glass cloche at your beach house. So sweet atop a cupcake at a baby shower. It comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Donna Petersen. Approximate dimensions: a wee 1.625" (h) x 1.125" (w).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
