This Wee Forest Folk mouse is dressed as a wee leprechaun on St. Patrick's Day. He sits atop a wild mushroom, holding a pipe in one hand and hiding a gold coin behind his back with the other. He's taking a wee rest (after a morning of dancing and mischief, no doubt). In Irish folklore this little fellow might have the power to grant you a wish, or lead you to a treasure. Better catch him while you can to see if it's true! A fun addition to any St. Patrick's Day display! Sculpted by Willy Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.875" x 1.0".
Production: Mar 2010 - Feb 2012.
Status: Retired.
Condition: Excellent / Like New
The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
