Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-331a-BOS - Boston Strong

These two patriotic Wee Forest Folk mice are all decked out in red, white, and blue attire for the 4th of July, and are waving their American flag and Boston Strong flag during the Independence Day fireworks. This figurine was inspired by the resilience, unity, and strong community spirit in Boston following the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings. Deserving a place of importance in your miniature display, this figurine by Wee Forest Folk will forever be a reminder of the importance of community. This miniature figurine is in excellent condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen. Retired in 2013.

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
