This tiny Wee Forest Folk mouse wants to be a sailor when he grows up! He's nothing short of adorable dressed as a sailor, standing in his cardboard box boat, and holding his spyglass / telescope made of a paper towel tube. Precious! So sweet in your miniature beach display or a perfect gift from a sailor to his girlfriend far away. This miniature figurine is in excellent condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting. Sculpted and initialed by Willy Petersen. Approximate dimensions: A wee 1" wide x 1.5" tall.

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
