This Wee Forest Folk figurine, The Fall Cottage, is from the Cottage for all Seasons Collection. This is one of the most beautiful and detailed series of Wee Forest Folk figurines we have seen. Such a suspenseful autumn tale is unfolding at The Fall Cottage. A sweet field mouse is peeking around the corner of her cottage at two sassy owls sitting on a tree stump near the front door.  She may be reluctant to cross their path, and rightly so, being a mouse and all, or perhaps she's just admiring them from a distance. The cottage itself is a true piece of art with a thatched roof and surrounded by colorful potted plants and festive jack-o-lanterns. This piece will be stunning in your miniature village or making a statement under a glass dome on your dresser or bookshelf. A beautiful and memorable gift. This miniature figurine is in excellent / like new condition. It is more substantial in size than most pieces in the main Wee Forest Folk line so does not fit in a standard Wee Forest Folk box. It will come in a plain gift box and we suggest storing the piece in the box provided when not in use. Sculpted and signed by Donna Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 2.75" (h) x 3" (w).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
