Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-165 - Haunted Mouse House (Purple)

This Wee Forest Folk figurine is a miniature Halloween Haunted Mouse House (the first of two haunted house styles created by Donna Petersen). This one is the less commonly found purple version of M-165, and it is gorgeous! The dark purple finish on the haunted house gives it an eerie glow, and our little witch is dressed in a dazzling deep purple dress. Two brave little mice dressed as a witch and a devil cautiously approach a dark haunted house on the eve of Halloween. Not even the ghosts and bats flying out of the windows or the beware sign posted out front can stop these little mice from adding one more candy bar to their treat bags! The details on this piece make it a special figurine for any Wee Forest Folk collector, and the center of attention in any miniature Halloween village. Would be a beautiful stand-alone piece under a glass cloche on your mantle or table-top for Halloween. Sculpted and signed by Donna Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 4.25" x 3.25". The mice are each almost an inch tall. This piece feels heavier in your hand than most Wee Forest Folk figures.

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
