This vintage Wee Forest Folk figurine of a little field mouse getting his first haircut is the perfect first haircut keepsake. Our little mouse has a worrisome look on his face, and his tiny hands are clenching the arms of the barber chair. A barber mouse stands patiently beside the chair with a towel prepared for his young customer, and scissors and a comb peeking out from the pocket of his smock. Such a kind and patient barber! This little nostalgic scene has so many cute details, including the barber chair and checkered floor. This vintage miniature figurine is in excellent condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting. A beautiful example of an early Wee Forest Folk figure. Sculpted and initialed by Willy Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.625" x 1.5".

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
