This Wee Forest Folk MD mouse is making a house call, or should we say "mouse" call! He wears a white lab coat, carries a black MD bag, and has a reassuring arm around his young patient. This vintage Wee Forest Folk figurine is hard to find and a beautiful example of Willy Petersen's early 1980's work. It is initialed by Willy and includes the original 1983 date sticker. This piece will add depth to any Wee Forest Folk collection, and is a good pick for a new collector that wants to start at the beginning. Comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Approximate dimensions: 1.5" x 1.25".

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
