Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-069 - Beddy-Bye Mousey (Yellow / Pink / White)

This loving little mouse is putting her wee baby mouse to bed in a beautiful antiqued white crib. Beddy-Bye Mousey was produced in several color combinations and this is one of our favorites. Baby mouse is dressed in yellow pajamas, and mother mouse wears a pink polka dotted dress and a cream color apron with a pink daisy on the pocket. The antiqued white crib is a folk art masterpiece with a few carved hearts in just the right places. The crib blanket is patchworked in yellow and blue. This piece has such sweet, vintage charm. A perfect gift for Mother's Day or to celebrate a new baby. Wouldn't this miniature look cute under a tiny glass cloche at a baby shower?! This piece comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.5" x 1.625".

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
