Wee Forest Folk Miniatures CS1-CS7 - Egyptian Chess Set
This stunning Tutmouse's Egyptian Chess Set by Wee Forest Folk is retired and very hard to find. This highly collectible, luxury chess set will be a memorable gift for Father's Day, for a chess collector, or for any Wee Forest Folk collector. The chess board is 11.5" square, and is intricately carved with Wee Forest Folk's version of Egyptian hieroglyphs. Each tiny chess piece is a hand sculpted, hand painted work of art ranging in height from 2" to 2.5". There are a total of 32 chess pieces, 16 on each side of the chess board. The pieces on one side of the board are painted in a red and gold color scheme on sand colored bases. Pieces on the opposing side are blue and gold on slate colored bases. The pieces are very detailed and each base is also decorated with hieroglyphs. Comes with plastic storage bins. Signature will be required upon delivery.

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
