Wee Forest Folk M-171 - Zelda (Red Glitter)

This tiny Wee Forest Folk Zelda mouse is infamous in the world of Wee Forest Folk collecting. Named for the 1920's style Zelda flapper dress, this figurine was produced in a rainbow of colors, all adorned with a string of pearls, a coordinating handbag, and a snazzy headband in her hair. This particular little mouse is dazzling in a red dress sparkling with glitter. She stands in her black glittery pumps atop a base surrounded by pearls. A perfect Valentine's Day gift for your fashionista. She would be stunning under a tiny glass cloche on your dresser near your jewelry box. This vintage miniature figurine is in excellent condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting. Sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.75" (h) x 1" (w).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
