Wee Forest Folk M-171 - Zelda (Ivory)

We spotted this tiny mouse in town and couldn't resist taking her picture! Zelda is infamous in the world of Wee Forest Folk collecting. Named for the 1920's style Zelda flapper dress, this figurine was produced in a rainbow of colors, all adorned with a string of pearls, a coordinating handbag, and a snazzy headband in her hair. This particular little mouse is dressed in ivory carrying a glittery gold handbag. She stands in her black glittery pumps atop a base surrounded by roses. This vintage miniature figurine is in excellent condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting. Sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.75" (h) x 1" (w).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
