Wee Forest Folk Limited Edition P-11s - Holly Hog

This Wee Forest Folk figurine is from Annette's Forget-me-not series, created in honor of Annette's 95th birthday. This series is a re-issuance of eight of Annette's favorite early designs. This one is a jolly hog dressed as Santa carrying a sprig of holly and a sack of apples. Ho, ho, ho, Holly Hog! Originally sculpted and signed by Annette Petersen. A bit more substantial than the main line of mice at approximately 2.75" x 1.5". A limited edition with only 310 made in July 2014. This piece is # 95 / 310 and comes with the original certificate of authenticity.

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
