Wee Forest Folk began releasing the Forget-Me-Not series in April 2014 to commemorate Annette's 95th birthday. These eight pieces appeared for a limited time in newly colored garments so as not to rival the early originals. At just over 2-inches tall, they are slightly larger with more weight than the standard line of mice and deserving of their own display. A special series for any serious collector. In Annette's words, "One dreary day this past winter, a walk down memory lane led me back in time when these old friends gained your love and appreciation. Perhaps they deserve a chance to perform one final encore!"
Nightie Mouse wears a soft blue nightgown, a matching night cap, and carries a candle as she prepares to retire for the evening. She has a sweet look of wonder on her face as she glances up at the moon one last time before disappearing into the safety of her mouse hole just before the owls begin hooting. Nightie mouse stands upon a special base crafted to appear like a slice of wood. Sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen. This piece is numbered 180 / 430. Approximate dimensions: 2.25" x 1.5". Includes certificate of authenticity and special Forget-Me-Not card.

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
