This tiny tri-fold Halloween moon background was made by Wee Forest Folk to accompany their miniature mice. The highly detailed and colorful illustration is applied to a thin slice of wood with a beautiful message applied to the back of the main panel. What fun it is to be a mouse, and how spooky it is to be out in the dark with a full moon rising! There are so many mice that would look cute on display with this scene; we particularly love how prowling with treats looks against the yellow moon, but any trick or treaters will do. While this piece was produced long before the MINI line of Wee Forest Folk were designed, it is also a nice scale to use with the MICRO / MINI line of Wee Forest Folk miniatures. No box. Comes protected in a plastic sleeve and/or bubble wrap. Approximately 3.75" tall x 2.75" wide (folded), or 5.25" wide (open) x 1/8th of and inch thick.
The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
