This Wee Forest Folk miniature mouse hasn't a care in the world as he walks through the garden in the spring rain with his hands tucked in his raincoat pockets. This vintage figurine is perfect in every way from his pink nose, to his signature leather tail, in his snazzy yellow raincoat, matching hat and red boots. This is one of the earliest versions of April Showers and in excellent / like new condition. Comes in a cute Wee Forest Folk box that will be adorable tucked in your Easter basket and perfect for gifting and storage. Sculpted by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimension: 1.375" x 1".

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
