Matador is a construction building block principle made in Austria from untreated red beech wood. Pieces are connected using a wooden,hammer-like tool included in each basic set, small pins or pegs, and a special Matador hole component system. Creations can be taken apart using a special Matador tool, and assembled again and again. Your child will become acquainted with using tools as well as practicing creativity. They can even add moving parts to their designs! Matador sets are available for two (2) age groups; Matador Ki for age 3+ years and Matador Klassik for age 5+ years. Matador is a design classic - every child in Austria has a Matador.
Matador Klassik is composed of basic and supplement sets. The basic sets vary in the number and type of parts included and therefore in the number of different construction ideas they offer. The supplement kits enable the child to further develop their constructing abilities. Supplementary kits do not include tools, but contain more parts than one would need, just in case some parts get lost.
This is the smallest of the Matador Klassik, or Matador Classic, construction sets. With 100 parts and 42 building ideas, this set offers a perfect entrance into the Matador building experience. Like all Matador products, this set promotes creativity and motor development.
